Job summary

The Imagine Group is hiring a Prepress Operator to ensure all art/files for offset, digital, screen, and dye sublimation printing meet client specs. You will coordinate with Sales, prepare files, and maintain quality control throughout the prepress process.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in electronic pre-press, strong color management skills, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite on Mac OS. Accuracy and communication are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Communications, Graphic Design, or Printing Technology preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in an electronic pre-press environment or related field.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with Sales and Account Management teams.
• Prepare customer files for size, image resolution, bleeds, overprints, font issues, and color breaks.
• Maintain quality control during prepress processes and verify artwork reproduces to specifications.
• Output digital files to various output devices and meet productivity/quality standards.
• May operate CTP plate making equipment and perform maintenance as needed.
