ATX Specialty Foods seeks a Pre-Weigh Batching Technician in Kyle, TX, to support production by weighing, preparing, and staging ingredients for manufacturing. You will read orders, document weights and lot numbers, and ensure accurate inventory while maintaining a clean weigh room and compliant processes.

The role requires following GMP, HACCP, and FDA guidelines, with overtime and occasional evenings/weekends. 6 AM–2:30 PM shift, with potential overtime to meet production demands.

Qualifications

• Follow SOPs and GMP guidelines accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality standards.
• Basic arithmetic skills for weighing materials.
• Good reading and comprehension of bulk-manufacturing documents.
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Two years batching and formulating experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain one required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Read manufacturing orders to determine ingredient requirements.
• Weigh ingredients and record weights and lot numbers.
• Prepare labels and stage ingredients for production.
• Maintain organized weigh room and accurate production records.
• Ensure GMP/HACCP compliance and food safety standards.
• Transfer weighed materials to production or storage areas.
• Support waste management and inventory control.
• Work overtime, evenings, and weekends as needed.
