Job summary

ESS Metron, a global leader in power distribution solutions, is seeking a Painter to perform wet painting and powder coating on sheet metal from 16ga to 7ga. You will surface finish parts according to blueprints and paint specifications, with attention to detail and a safety-first mindset.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and powder coating experience is preferred. Prior exposure to finishing processes and maintaining coating equipment is desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience with powder coating preferred.
• Must be able to surface finish parts per blueprints, instructions, or paint specs.

Responsibilities

• Perform wet painting and powder coating of sheet metal from 16ga to 7ga.
• Ensure surface finish matches blueprints or shop drawings and applicable paint specifications.
• Hangs, washes, etches, and dries parts to be coated and painted.
• Clean spray guns and powder coating equipment to maintain efficiency and safety.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and promote a safety-first mentality.
