Job summary

Valley Craft Industries, part of the Ballymore Safety Products family, is seeking a Powder Coat Painter to prep, coat, and finish metal parts. You will support daily production and custom orders by preparing surfaces, washing, and powder coating using electrostatic equipment.

This role suits someone who enjoys hands-on work, prioritizes quality finishes, and wants to grow skills in a production environment. Mon–Thu, 8:00 am–6:30 pm, with occasional evenings or holidays if needed.

Qualifications

• 0–1+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial painting.
• Basic knowledge of metalworking equipment and processes.
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Willingness to learn finishing skills.
• Reliable team player with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Prep and coat metal parts using electrostatic powder coating equipment.
• Follow spray patterns and work instructions for consistent finishes.
• Assist with color changes and setup as needed.
• Monitor finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Wash and degrease parts and prepare surfaces for paint adhesion.
• Operate, clean, and maintain painting and wash equipment.
• Read and follow demonstrated and written work instructions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Willingness to take on additional duties as needed.
