Valence is seeking a motivated individual for entry-level manufacturing work in West Springfield, MA. The role includes inspecting parts, operating machinery, and maintaining a clean work area under direct supervision.

No prior experience is required; training is provided. Candidates should be willing to learn, follow directions, and handle basic hand tools. Company benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read process traveler and fill out completed operations.
• Ability to perform simple cleaning operations.
• Ability to assist as a helper to trained operators.
• Able to follow verbal and written direction.
• Able to use basic hand tools such as wrenches and clamps.
• Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the part before, during, and after processing.
• Operate all machinery and instruments necessary to safely perform the job function.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Locate and understand relevant Quality system documentation in the Valence computer system.
• Follow Valence ROUTER procedures and fill out routers correctly.
• Process parts with little or no supervision.
• Avoid damage to parts and protect the part from damage.
