Job summary

Exactec is seeking a Plastic Fabricator in Chaska, MN for a full-time 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM). The role involves cutting, bending, and assembling acrylic and plastics to create custom retail displays. Reading blueprints and working with shop equipment is required. Overtime is available as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous fabrication, manufacturing, woodworking, cabinetry, sign-making, plastics, or related hands-on experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift materials as needed.

Responsibilities

• Cut, shape, drill, bend, route, and finish acrylic and plastics.
• Assemble displays using bonding techniques.
• Read blueprints and production specifications.
• Operate fabrication equipment (table saws, routers, edgers, jointers, heat benders).
• Inspect finished products for quality and fit.
• Package and prepare products for shipment.
• Assist in troubleshooting fabrication issues.
• Support team and help meet production schedules.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
