Job summary

Marmen Inc. is seeking a Cutting Table Operator to work on steel plate fabrication. You will operate a plasma cutting table, bevel all plate edges, and position parts with a vacuum lifter. Safe crane operation and scrap removal are essential parts of the role.

You will also grind as needed, verify dimensions and surface quality, and maintain accurate records for follow-up files. This is a hands-on production position requiring alertness and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be able to observe and inspect plate quality for defects.

Responsibilities

• Operate plasma cutting table to cut steel plates.
• Bevel all sides of steel plates using the beveling machine.
• Position plates on the table with a vacuum lifter.
• Safely operate the overhead crane.
• Remove scrap from plates and grind as needed.
• Verify thickness, dimensions and surface quality.
• Record information in follow-up files.
• Perform additional duties to support crew.
