Job summary

CLM Construction's Shawnee Fabrication Facility seeks an experienced Fit Welder to accurately fit and weld pipe, fittings, and structural components per drawings, specs, and welding procedures.

You will read drawings, spool sheets, isometrics, and weld maps to lay out, align, fit, tack and weld, keeping dimensions and tolerances while following safety procedures and working with QA/QC to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

• Reads fabrication drawings, spool sheets, isometrics, and weld maps.
• Must adhere to welding procedures (WPS) and safety rules.
• Experience in pipe or structural fabrication preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fit and weld pipe, fittings, and structural components per drawings and specs.
• Prepare assemblies, maintain dimensions and tolerances.
• Coordinate with QA/QC to meet production schedules.
