Job summary

Colorchrome Atlanta, Inc. seeks a skilled Picture Framer to operate high-quality framing equipment in a high-volume shop. You will cut and join mouldings, mount artwork, stretch canvases, cut mats and glass, and ensure frames meet exacting standards.

The role requires reading ticket instructions and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. You will collaborate with production and sales teams to ensure structural integrity and consistent quality of every frame design, in an in-office setting in

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Picture Framer.
• Familiarity with framing for paper, canvas, wood and mirrors.
• Experience with specialty tools and standard shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit frames for artwork and media.
• Chop and join moulding with mitre-saw and under-pinner.
• Mount artwork using conservation methods and proper hinging.
• Stretch canvases up to large sizes and cut mats/glass.
• Inspect frames to ensure quality standards.
• Collaborate with Production and Sales teams on design
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area
• Follow framing tickets and spec sheets
