Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Current pharmacy technician certification (CPhT) or acquire CPhT within 12 months.
• Current NJ Board of Pharmacy Registration or acquire the registration within 6 months.
• A valid driver’s license is required for technicians who drive.

Responsibilities

• Prepare IV admixtures per policy and USP 797 guidance.
• Use Pyxis 3000 to fill and manage medications.
• Process and dispense medication orders accurately and timely.
• Maintain WORx and HBOC system data and workflows.
• Handle controlled substances per NJ and Federal laws.
• Assist in ordering and stocking medications and supplies.
• Ensure accurate patient labeling and transport of medications.
