Job summary

Sweetgrass Pharmacy & Compounding is seeking a dependable Shipping & Delivery Specialist to ensure medications reach patients and healthcare providers safely, accurately, and on time. The role coordinates outgoing shipments, monitors deliveries, and completes local deliveries throughout Mount Pleasant and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities include preparing shipments, maintaining temperature-controlled materials, and adhering to privacy and security standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Active and in good standing Pharmacy Technician license with South Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
Previous experience in shipping, delivery, logistics, pharmacy, healthcare, or customer service preferred.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required.
Must remain insurable under the company’s automobile insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

Prepare, package, and coordinate medication shipments per pharmacy procedures.
Ensure deliveries are accurate and timely to patients and providers.
Monitor shipment progress and address potential delays.
Troubleshoot lost, delayed, damaged, returned, or incorrectly delivered packages.
Communicate delivery updates to staff, patients, providers, and carriers.
