Job summary

DIVSYS International-ICAPE, part of ICAPE Group, seeks a Repair & Rework Operator in Indianapolis, Indiana. You will repair, rework and modify PCBAs using soldering expertise, following IPC-7711/7721 and IPC-A-610 standards while maintaining traceability and quality records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; electronics training preferred.
• Experience in hand soldering, desoldering and PCB rework in electronics manufacturing.
• Knowledge of IPC-7711/7721 repair and rework procedures.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610 acceptance criteria.
• IPC Specialist (CIS) certification preferred or ability to obtain within months.
• CIT certification is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Repair, rework and modification of SMT and through-hole assemblies to IPC standards.
• Select and apply solder alloys and flux systems per customer specification.
• Inspect and verify repairs against IPC-A-610 criteria.
• Document all repair activity with traceable records.
• Operate and maintain rework equipment and ensure clean, organized workspace.
