Job summary

Ducommun, Inc. is seeking a skilled Circuit Board Hand Solderer to join our Tulsa manufacturing team. The role focuses on precision hand soldering of PCB assemblies and adherence to controlled procedures to ensure reliable connections for aerospace and defense products.

The candidate will work on PTH and SMT assemblies, perform inspections, and support documentation and rework as needed in a climate-controlled environment with opportunities for growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven hand soldering experience on PCBs.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Familiarity with ESD precautions and safe handling of components.
• IPC-A-610/J-STD-001 certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manually assemble electronic components onto PCBs according to manufacturing instructions and schematics.
• Precisely solder components, wires, and parts to circuit boards, ensuring strong electrical and mechanical connections.
• Conduct quality inspections of soldered boards for defects such as bad joints or misplacements.
• Perform minor rework and repairs on circuit boards as needed.
• Pull up documentation required to perform work on customer assemblies.
• Operate equipment as needed to fulfill customer requirements.
• Responsible for proper handling of product and components and hazardous waste.
• Maintain necessary records.
