Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in assembling printed circuit boards and/or surface mount.
• Able to identify components via color codes.
• Ability to read schematics and assembly documents.
• Performing automated and manual testing of PCBs.
• Oral and written communication skills for a team environment.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds without assistance.
• Detail oriented, organized, analytical; hand soldering.
• Knowledge of through hole and surface mount technology.
• Experience with Quad Pick & Place machines is a plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Study, understand, and follow assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, job travelers, facility procedures, and parts list
• Operating automatic equipment or hand solder for surface mount and mixed-technology boards
• Visually inspecting printed circuit boards for defects
• Report assembly, equipment, material, and/or quality problems to Manager to obtain additional resources or direction
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with PPE procedures, work rules, and regulations
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms
• Contribute to a team effort by accomplishing related tasks, or rotating through different processes/jobs as required or directed
• Align, fit and assemble component parts and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, templates, microscopes and soldering equipment.
• Operate per established Company Policies and Procedures
• Other tasks as assigned by Management
