Job summary

Gorilla Circuits in San Jose, CA is seeking a PCB Assembler – Touch-Up & Rework Operator to perform precision soldering, rework, and assembly of PCBs per customer specs and engineering documents.

You will work with SMT and through-hole components, follow IPC-A-610 and related standards, and maintain quality documentation while supporting production schedules. Strong attention to detail and safe handling are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• 3–5 years hands-on PCB assembly, soldering, touch-up, or rework experience preferred.
• Experience with SMT and through-hole components.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing and ISO 9001 environment preferred.
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 and IPC-7711/7721 rework procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision hand soldering, touch-up, and rework on PCBAs.
• Solder SMT and through-hole components per IPC standards and work instructions.
• Install, remove, replace, and reposition components using soldering stations and rework tools.
• Maintain documentation, traceability, and proper SOP compliance.
• Follow safety, ESD, and housekeeping policies; support continuous improvement.
