This role supports revenue cycle operations by ensuring AR records are correct and discrepancies are resolved.

The ideal candidate will have at least six months of medical billing or payment posting experience, be proficient in Excel and Office, and demonstrate strong data-entry accuracy,

Qualifications

• Six months of medical billing, payment posting, or related experience.
• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of patient accounting, AR processes, and healthcare reimbursement practices.

Responsibilities

• Post patient, insurance, government, and collection agency payments to patient accounts.
• Apply payments and adjustments per payer rules and procedures.
• Verify accuracy of postings and allocation of denials, patient responsibility amounts, and non-covered charges.
• Reconcile payment batches and research discrepancies to ensure balanced postings.
• Maintain documentation for payments and reporting requirements.
• Identify and report credit balances and overpayments per procedures.
