Elit Builders is seeking a skilled Professional Painter to join our Oakland Park team. You will prepare, prime, and paint interior and exterior surfaces on residential and commercial projects while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of professional painting experience, deep knowledge of surface preparation, finishes, and tools, and the ability to read work orders and follow project specifications. Reliable transportation required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional painting experience (residential or commercial).
• Strong knowledge of paint types, surface preparation, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to read blueprints or work orders and follow project specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and steady hand coordination.
• Must have reliable transportation and basic painting tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching holes, and removing old paint or wallpaper.
• Apply paint, varnish, stains, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Mix and match paints and stains to achieve desired colors and textures.
• Protect surrounding areas with drop cloths and masking tape to prevent damage or overspray.
• Inspect finished surfaces to ensure uniformity, smoothness, and proper coverage.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a tidy workspace.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet deadlines and project standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
