Job summary

Steffes-Corporatio is seeking a hands-on Paint Applicator to apply paint products per customer specifications and quality standards in Shelby, NC. You will use HVLP or electrostatic spray equipment, follow standard work, and maintain clean, calibrated spray guns and related tools.

Ideal candidates have at least 1+ year of related experience, with High School diploma or GED, and the ability to lift and maneuver equipment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related field experience.
• HVLP or electrostatic gun experience.
• Pressure pots experience.
• High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Apply paint products in accordance with customer and QMS specifications/requirements.
• Follow and understand standard work, training guides, procedures, and acceptance criteria to meet customer requirements.
• Able to use paint spray equipment, sanding equipment, and various hand tools.
• Maintain and clean spray guns and related equipment.
• Follow and understand build boards and Kanban system requirements.
• Report inconsistencies and/or defects in material, product, or equipment.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in collaborative manner with customers, suppliers, co-workers, and management.
• Helps company meet its Strategic, Quality and Safety objectives.
• Other duties may be assigned.
