Job summary

Steffes Solutions, LLC is seeking a paint line or spray technician to apply paint products per customer specifications and QMS requirements. The role involves operating spray equipment, maintaining guns, and following Kanban/build boards while ensuring a safe, collaborative work environment.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year of related field experience, plus basic computer skills. HVLP/electrostatic familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 1+ years related field experience
• Basic computer knowledge (Windows, email, internet)
• Familiarity with HVLP and/or electrostatic guns is a plus
• Written and verbal communication, math, reading and spelling skills

Responsibilities

• Application of paint products in accordance with customer and QMS specifications/requirements
• Follow and understand standard work, training guides, procedures, and acceptance criteria to meet customer requirements
• Able to use paint spray equipment, sanding equipment, and various hand tools
• Maintain and clean spray guns and related equipment
• Follow and understand build boards and Kanban system requirements
• Report inconsistencies and/or defects in material, product, or equipment
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by collaborating with customers, suppliers, coworkers, and management
• Helps company meet its Strategic, Quality and Safety objectives
• Other duties may be assigned
