Miller Motor Sales in Burlington, WI seeks an experienced Collision Center Paint Preparation/Finish Technician to prep surfaces, mask, and support quality refinishing. If you take pride in quality prep and work well in a fast-paced shop, this role fits you.

You will prep vehicles per standards, liaise with painters, and help maintain a safe, efficient workflow in a collaborative environment at a well-regarded dealership.

Qualifications

• Previous collision repair or automotive paint-prep experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while being part of a team
• Good work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Pride in producing quality work
• I-CAR or manufacturer training is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles and panels for refinishing according to manufacturer and shop standards
• Sand, featheredge, block, prime, and seal repaired areas
• Perform final surface preparation before vehicles enter the paint booth
• Mask vehicles properly and efficiently
• Identify imperfections or areas requiring additional prep before painting
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Communicate with painters, technicians, and management regarding repair and prep needs
• Follow proper safety procedures and use PPE
• Help maintain a productive workflow and meet established cycle-time goals
• Perform other duties related to the paint and collision repair process as needed
