Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles and panels for refinishing according to manufacturer and shop standards.
• Sand, featheredge, block, prime, and seal repaired areas.
• Perform final surface preparation before vehicles enter the paint booth.
• Mask vehicles properly and efficiently.
• Identify imperfections or areas requiring additional prep before painting.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Communicate with painters, technicians, and management regarding repair and prep needs.
• Follow proper safety procedures and use PPE.
• Help maintain a productive workflow and meet established cycle-time goals.
• Perform other duties related to the paint and collision repair process as needed.
