Job summary

Smithfield Foods is seeking team members for production roles in Wisconsin. The position offers hourly pay with a $1.00/hour shift differential for second shift, and eligibility for comprehensive health insurance, retirement benefits, and education support.

You will be expected to grade, label and pack products, maintain clean work areas, inspect seals, and follow safety and rotation procedures while contributing to a collaborative, high‑speed production team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Proper grading, labeling, and packing of products.
• Good housekeeping of workspace.
• Grades product according to quality specifications.
• Visually inspect seals on pouch before packing them in a box.
• Packs product - bags, boxes, etc.
• Labels containers and marks weights.
• May assist in departmental clean-up as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor(s).
• Follow rotation every 30 minutes.
