Job summary

Eaton’s Euclid, OH facility is seeking a Package & Shipping Assembly Utility Operator on 2nd shift (3:30pm–12am). Responsibilities include receiving, stocking, packaging, and inspecting parts for shipment, while adhering to ANSI Y14-5 and operator program requirements.

The role requires a high school diploma, residency within 50 miles, and successful completion of required certifications including PIT and measurement basics. Salary includes $28.16/hour plus $1/hour shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must reside within 50-mile radius of work location; no relocation benefit.
• This position requires access to export-controlled information; must be a U.S. person per regulations.
• Pass an Eaton vision test.
• Become a Certified Operator within 40 days of active on the code.
• Must obtain Power Industrial Truck (PIT) certificate within 30 days.
• Complete Basics of Measurement courses.

Responsibilities

• Receive, distribute, and inventory materials for distribution operations and dock.
• Perform stock and packaging functions for distribution operations and dock.
• Wrap, package, and box parts, assemblies, tooling and other items for shipment.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections and maintain documentation per ANSI Y14-5 and the operator program.
• Assist other operators with proper procedures as needed.
