Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is seeking an Order Checker to verify the accuracy of customer orders as they leave the warehouse. You will inspect pallets, cross-check pick tickets, and ensure correct product types and quantities before loading for delivery.

Additionally, you will review returned route trucks, perform blind counts, and update discrepancy reports to support precise invoicing and efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Up to 12 months of related work experience.
• PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) Certification and Pallet Jack preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies the accuracy of Customer Orders by inspecting built pallets to ensure proper type and quantity are correct, and communicates with warehouse teammates to correct mistakes.
• Inspects returning Route Deliver Trucks for proper condition and performs blind counts to compare with reported quantities; communicates issues to drivers for adjustments.
• Documents discrepancies, changes, and additions on reports (Load Bay Diagrams/Pick Tickets) and informs appropriate personnel.
• Accounts for all returned Product and Deposit Items on Route Delivery Trucks and classifies items (Out-of-Date, Damaged, Good Items, Pallets).
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of the work area and warehouse, and performs pallet building as requested by management.
