Job summary

Ace Distributing in Kentucky is seeking an Order Selector to pick and check customer orders accurately, rotate stock to maintain freshness, and inspect safety equipment daily in line with OSHA/DOT rules. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED (or relevant experience) and may be preferred with forklift, walkie rider, and electric pallet jack certifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; relevant experience considered without diploma or GED.
• Certified forklift, walkie rider, and electric pallet jack experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Picking and checking customer orders accurately and efficiently in accordance with company established productivity and accuracy expectations
• Check product code dates and rotate product to ensure product freshness
• Performing daily inspections on all safety sensitive equipment (trucks/forklift/electric jacks) to be utilized in preparing of orders as per OSHA and DOT regulations and report equipment issues to management.
• Keep warehouse, equipment, and work environment clean and organized throughout the shift
• Perform all job functions and always operate all equipment in a safe and orderly fashion
• Report any accidents, unsafe conditions, or injuries immediately
• Provide a consistent, positive image of Ace Distributing, its executives and employees to both in-house and outside public.
