Job summary

MKS Instruments, Inc. is seeking an Optics Cleaner to handle, clean and inspect substrate materials, ensuring surfaces are particle-free using high-intensity light and microscope inspection.

You will load substrates into fixtures, inspect pre and post-coat optics, and keep detailed records in a controlled environment. Responsibilities include maintaining a 6S work area and adhering to PPE protocols while contributing to quality coatings and documentation.

Qualifications

• Cleanroom environment and PPE usage required.
• Experience cleaning/inspecting Ti-Sa, BBO, LBO substrates.
• Ability to load/unload substrates and inspect pre/post coat surfaces.
• Attention to particle-free surfaces using high intensity light and microscope.

Responsibilities

• Handle, clean and inspect various substrate materials.
• Load substrates into fixturing prior to coating.
• Inspect optics pre/post coat and document results.
• Maintain 6S work environment.
