Job summary

MKS Inc. is seeking an Optical Cleaner 2 in Irvine, CA to partner with Fabrication, Coating and QA teams and support cleaning, preparation and processing of optical components and substrates.

You will report to the Production Supervisor and contribute to quality and process documentation. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1+ years experience in manufacturing or optical cleaning, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Must have basic math and reading skills to interpret drawings and instructions.
• Experience in optical cleaning or related manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to safely handle cleaning chemicals and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive optical parts and prepare them for processing.
• Verify dimensions and tooling specs from drawings and work instructions.
• Clean optical components using approved processes to meet quality standards.
• Maintain cleaning logs and production records accurately.
• Monitor inventory of chemicals, solvents and cleaning supplies.
• Adhere to safety, quality and environmental procedures in a manufacturing setting.
