Job summary

Excelitas is seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our team. You will assemble electronic and mechanical parts into precision assemblies for laser systems in a clean, temperature- and humidity-controlled environment.

Required: 1–2 years in manufacturing assembly; a High School Diploma or GED; a 2-year degree or technical schooling is a plus. We offer 144 hours PTO from day one, hourly pay of $20.00–$26.00, 401(k) match up to 5%, and comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing in an assembly department.
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• 2 year Degree or Technical School preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and perform routine inspection and measurements of parts to meet specifications.
• Assemble mechanical assemblies following procedures and document paperwork.
• Package mechanical assemblies for shipment.
• Chemical handling.
• Follow cleanroom practices and protocols.
• Operate cleanline & ultrasonic cleaning equipment.
• Maintain safe work practices and PPE compliance.
• Support shift schedule and overtime as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
