Zygo Corporation in Middlefield, CT is hiring an Optical Assembly Technician for our OMAC manufacturing team. You will assemble and test precision optical systems, read drawings, and maintain cleanroom and safety protocols. Experience with optomechanical assembly and BOMs is preferred.

We offer hourly compensation in the $50,000–$60,000 range per year and opportunities to contribute to high-precision manufacturing in a safety-driven environment.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to read and interpret BOMs, schematics, and build procedures.
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail for delicate optical components.

Mansioni

• Perform optomechanical and electromechanical assembly and testing of subassemblies and instruments with precision tooling and fixturing.
• Document work with precise attention to detail and meet quality standards.
• Follow detailed manufacturing procedures and quality standards during assembly/test work.
