Qualifications
- BS in Engineering or equivalent technical training.
- Proven problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Experience with APQP, GD&T, and lean manufacturing practices.
Responsibilities
- Partner with product teams to build standardized procedures and documentation for consistent, high-quality, low-cost manufacturing.
- Shape capital equipment plans; provide technical support through purchase, installation, and ramp‑up.
- Engineer and refine manufacturing processes and tooling for current production and new product introductions (NPI).
- Lead APQP activities and continuous improvement initiatives using the Project Launch Guide and APS.
- Author and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and cost standards.
- Own cost modeling: quote new parts and update existing customer quotations.
- Develop people: train operators on machine operations, SPC, reading documentation, and improving the process.
- Translate prints to practice: read technical drawings and apply GD&T to processes and inspection.
- Ensure all activities align with our Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS).
