Job summary

Millennium Metalcraft, Inc. is seeking an NC Punch Press Operator to join our Fremont, CA fabrication shop. You will operate Amada turret punch presses, load materials, verify tooling, and run released NC programs from job travelers.

This hands-on role emphasizes quality, safety, and reliability in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment. Experience with sheet metal and basic inspection is preferred; training on our processes will be provided to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Experience operating NC punch presses or similar sheet-metal fabrication equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow written work instructions.
• Basic measurement and inspection skills.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Operate Amada NC turret punch presses and ensure proper tooling.
• Load sheet material, verify tooling, and run released NC programs.
• Perform basic to advanced setups and changeovers under direction.
• Monitor part quality during production and make minor adjustments.
• Coordinate with other departments to maintain workflow.
