Job summary

Regal Rexnord in Radford, VA is seeking a Motor Assembler I to perform standardized motor assembly and testing within a production cell. You will follow work instructions, read blueprints, and support quality standards under guidance.

This onsite role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math and measurement skills, and strong attention to detail. You will operate winding machines, test stations, and other equipment while adhering to safety procedures.

• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and instructions
• Basic math skills and ability to use measuring tools
• Good written and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks with minimal supervision
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Assemble motors and components using work instructions, drawings, and specifications
• Perform basic mechanical and electrical testing to ensure products meet specifications
• Operate manufacturing equipment, including winding machines, test stations, and spray systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and bill of materials to complete assembly tasks
• Complete and follow required documentation and instructions
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
• Handle materials properly to prevent damage or contamination
• Follow all safety procedures and environmental regulations
• Collaborate with team members and support work flow throughout production areas
