Job summary

Teledyne Reynolds, a Teledyne Defense Electronics unit, seeks a Machine Operator in Torrance, CA to support molding operations. You will operate mold presses, monitor process parameters, and set up molds to ensure efficient production in a high-reliability environment.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and 2 years experience, plus strong communication and ability to read engineering drawings. This full-time role offers growth in a defense/aerospace manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 2 years experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications, and process control documents.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure with whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Demonstrates attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
• Communicates effectively and works cooperatively with colleagues and management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with company’s quality standards.
• Use of mold presses (small & large) to mold small plastic and rubber parts.
• Capacities include monitoring pressures, temperatures, and cure times on the mold presses.
• Set-ups on molds and molding processes per set-up process instructions.
• Assist with preventative maintenance as well as minor repairs of production equipment.
• Use small inspection hand tools, i.e., micrometers, calipers, drop indicators, etc.
• Completes accurate production paperwork and/or electronic data entry.
• Other duties may be assigned as required.
