Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions in Utah is seeking a dedicated Millwright to assemble, install, and maintain heavy machinery. The role includes alignment, leveling, rigging, and fabricating related fixtures, with emphasis on safety and teamwork to support project installation and relocation.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of three years in millwright work, a high school diploma, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Qualifications

Three or more years of Millwright experience or equivalent field experience in construction service.
Use effective interpersonal skills to maintain a positive environment and relationships.
Good understanding of the English language, including spelling and grammar.
Be approachable, open‑minded, and possess a strong sense of responsibility; passionate about work.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain machinery and equipment using hoists, lifts, hand tools, and power tools.
Align machines and equipment using various measuring tools and alignment methods.
Level and establish centerlines using standards and transit equipment.
Dismantle machinery for shipment and assist with installation on site as part of a team.
Fabricate, set up, and repair rigging and pulling gear.
Ensure safety and compliance with MEI Health and Safety Manual.
