Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions in North Kingstown, RI is seeking a Millwright to install, align, and maintain heavy machinery on-site. You will assist with disassembly, relocation, and commissioning as part of a field operations team.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of millwright experience, a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and strong English communication. You will use hand and power tools, hoists, and measuring devices to ensure precise clearances and alignment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 3 years of millwright experience in field or construction settings.
Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one.
Familiar with standard concepts and procedures in the field.
Strong interpersonal skills and English language proficiency.
Responsible, reliable and safety-minded.

Responsibilities

Installs and maintains machinery and equipment using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools.
Aligns machines, sets clearances, and positions parts using measuring devices.
Dismantles and reassembles machinery for shipment or installation on site.
Test rigs, verify safety, and ensure proper operation of equipment.
Directs loads and coordinates with team to ensure safe handling of heavy parts.
Performs housekeeping and adheres to MEI safety standards.
