Job summary

IREN seeks an experienced Millwright for an onsite role in Childress, TX. You will install, repair, and maintain precision machinery, reading blueprints and schematics to ensure proper alignment and performance.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of millwright experience, strong tool skills, and a commitment to safety. Relocation and extensive benefits are available with the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Millwright experience.
• Must read blueprints, schematics and engineering specs to determine procedures.
• Experience with industrial hand tools and power tools required.
• NCCER Journeyman Millwright certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, inspect, verify, and document the scope of work.
• Use precision leveling and alignment tools to measure angles and distances.
• Assemble and install equipment per blueprints and drawings.
• Dismantle machines using hand tools.
• Operate lathes, grinders, and similar equipment.
