Job summary

Collins seeks a skilled Millwright to perform operation, maintenance, installation, and service for our manufacturing systems and equipment. The role demands hands-on work with mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and on-site attendance is essential to keep production running smoothly.

You will read blueprints and manuals, fabricate parts as needed, document progress, and assist with supervisor duties if leads are awarded.

Qualifications

Two years of millwright experience or completion of the Millwright Trainee program.
Proficient welding, cutting, fitting, lubrication and troubleshooting.
Read blueprints, instruction manuals, and schematics.
Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Comply with safety standards at all times and correct/report any observed safety hazards.
Troubleshoot, install, lubricate, replace, and repair machines and equipment including mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Fabricate parts and assemble machinery as needed.
Read blueprints, instruction manuals, and schematics.
Document work order progress using the company’s maintenance tracking system.
On-site attendance is essential to effectively perform the listed duties and responsibilities.
If lead status is awarded, the individual will act as a functional expert and serve as a point of contact in the area of responsibility; assist the supervisor with daily reports and crew member assignments; provide breaks; and provide training.
