Job summary

Marlin Steel Wire Products in Baltimore, MD seeks a skilled MIG Welder to support custom and high-volume stainless steel and wire assembly production. The role requires blueprint interpretation, attention to detail, and active participation in in-process quality control.

The position includes training on robotic welding systems (Haeger and Schlatter) and collaboration with supervisors to ensure quality and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience reading fabrication blueprints and welding drawings.
• Ability to verify conformance with gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced production setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on stainless steel and wire assemblies for custom/high-volume jobs.
• Interpret full fabrication drawings and weld requirements.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify product conformance.
• Complete traveler documentation in real time and conduct inspections.
• Identify nonconformances and work with Quality to resolve issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Assist with robotic welding equipment operation and setup changes.
