Marlin Steel Wire Products in Baltimore, MD is seeking a skilled TIG Welder/Fabricator to support custom, high-volume stainless steel and wire assemblies. You will interpret drawings, set up and operate TIG equipment, and ensure parts meet precise specifications through in-process and final inspections.

The role requires 2+ years of TIG welding in manufacturing, strong blueprint interpretation, and meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety and quality

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of TIG welding experience in a manufacturing setting.
Proven ability to read and interpret complex fabrication blueprints.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

Perform manual TIG welding on stainless steel, steel, and wire assemblies for custom and high-volume production jobs.
Interpret full fabrication drawings, including dimensions, tolerances, and weld symbols.
Set up, adjust, and operate TIG welding equipment based on job requirements.
Use precision measuring tools such as gauges, tape measures, calipers, and micrometers to verify product conformance.
Complete traveler documentation accurately and in real time.
Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
