Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled welder to operate MIG and TIG processes on electric-arc machines, producing both standardized and custom weldments.

You will study blueprints, select heats, wires, electrodes, and adjust equipment to meet production and quality goals while following safety and quality procedures. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to read drawings and documentation, with hands-on work in a busy shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 years of manufacturing experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience as determined by the Shop Supervisor or Operations Manager.
• Strong math proficiency and clear communication skills.
• Proficient in reading drawings and production process documentation; fluent with a tape measure.
• Must bring your own welding helmet.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run MIG/TIG processes on electric-arc machines for both repetitive and custom jobs.
• Study samples, blueprints, sketches, and instructions to plan sequence and verify requirements.
• Help design and construct weld fixtures that ensure accurate fit-up.
• Inspect to documented procedures and comply with the quality system; work may require secondary sign-off.
• Adjust machines to suit conditions—selecting heats, wires, and electrodes—to achieve production and quality goals.
• Support teammates and take direction from Lead personnel or Supervision.
• Troubleshoot welding equipment and related tools when issues arise.
• Complete accurate paperwork and daily task reporting.
