Ardent Staffing Solutions, LLC. is hiring for a Cleanroom Laser Assembly Specialist – Microscope Assembly in Billerica, MA. The role focuses on precision micro-assembly of laser diode components in a state-of-the-art cleanroom, with training provided and room for growth toward permanent hire.

You will handle delicate components under high magnification, follow SOPs, and contribute to process improvements, all in a low-noise, controlled environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination for micro-scale work.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs and work instructions.
• Comfort with cleanroom gowning and quiet, focused work.
• Willingness to train and grow in micro-assembly techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision mechanical and optical assembly on micro-scale laser diode components under high magnification.
• Handle delicate laser diode chips and bars, including processing, sorting, and inspection.
• Apply micro-assembly techniques such as solder mounting, wire bonding, lens alignment, and connectorization.
• Inspect, test, and verify assemblies against quality criteria.
• Log work orders and testing data into tracking systems.
• Collaborate with production supervisors to improve processes.
