Responsibilities

• Apply micro-assembly techniques such as solder mounting, wire bonding, lens alignment, and connectorization.
• Inspect, test, and verify assemblies against quality criteria.
• Log work orders and testing data into tracking systems.
• Collaborate with production supervisors to improve processes.

What You Will Do

Tasks are matched to your individual strengths and manual dexterity, with comprehensive training provided:

Perform precision mechanical and optical assembly on micro-scale laser diode components using tweezers, fixtures, and specialized precision instruments under high-magnification microscopes.

Handle delicate laser diode chips and bars, including processing, sorting, prep, and visual defect inspection.

Participate in specialized micro-assembly techniques, such as solder mounting, fine wire bonding, lens alignment and attachment, and fiber optic splicing or connectorization.

Inspect, verify, and test completed laser diode assemblies against stringent quality criteria.

Log work order progression, tracking numbers, and testing data accurately into computer tracking systems.

Collaborate closely with production supervisors and peers, sharing ideas for continuous process improvements.

What You Bring

Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

Manual Dexterity: Exceptional hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills; ability to comfortably handle tiny, delicate components under a microscope for extended periods.

Visual Acuity: Strong close-up vision, depth perception, and keen attention to microscopic detail.

Environment Comfort: Comfortable wearing full hooded cleanroom gowning (bunny suit, mask, gloves) throughout the shift in a secure, distraction-free environment.

Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, self-motivated, and proud of delivering flawless craftsmanship.

Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to read and strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

Preferred Experience (Bonus): Previous experience with micro-assembly, soldering, wire bonding, fiber optics, surface-mount inspection, or medical device assembly is a definite plus, but trainable candidates with natural dexterity are strongly encouraged to apply.
