Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, with hands-on wire bonding or microelectronic manufacturing experience.
• Proven proficiency in wire bonding techniques (manual gold ball, wedge, ribbon; semi-automatic; automated) and intricate microelectronic assembly.
• Exceptional manual dexterity and ability to work under a microscope for an entire shift.
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and follow build sheets, ICDs, and engineering drawings; maintain clean, safe, ESD-compliant environment.
• U.S. Person due to access to export controlled information or facilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain wire bonding equipment to perform precise gold ball, wedge, ribbon, alloy, and manganin wire bonding onto various substrates.
• Conduct microelectronic assembly, including adhesive and epoxy application and integration of micro-electronic components.
• Read and interpret detailed build sheets, ICDs, and engineering drawings with meticulous adherence to specifications.
• Set up, calibrate, and optimize bonding machinery and parameters for quality and throughput.
• Perform in-process and final inspections using reticle, indicator, microscope, and bond puller.
• Collaborate with technicians and engineers to identify, analyze, and resolve production issues.
• Maintain cleanroom, safety, and ESD procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
