Pacira BioSciences, Inc. is seeking a GMP calibration technician in San Diego to perform scheduled and emergency instrument calibrations and maintain calibration records.

Under general supervision, you will update databases, communicate with internal customers, and assist in oversight of calibration contractors while upholding Pacira’s Quality Management System. Qualifikationen

• Basic knowledge of metrology principles.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting specifications and engineering drawings.
• Good command of MS Office.
• Ability to communicate with a broad range of personnel.

Aufgaben

• Perform scheduled and emergency instrument and system calibrations in a timely manner.
• Document tasks according to SOPs and applicable standards.
• Update calibration management database with equipment status and recall data.
• Coordinate with internal customers for scheduling and execution of tasks.
• Assist in coordinating outside contractors providing calibration services.
• Ensure contractors have current training on procedures.
• Review calibration certificates from outside vendors and practitioners.
• Manage equipment sent to vendors for calibration/repair.
• Generate calibration documentation and out-of-tolerance notifications.
• Uphold Pacira’s Quality Management System standards and policies.
