Job summary

NxEdge, Inc. in Boise, Idaho is seeking a hands-on Metrology Inspector to join our precision manufacturing team. You will check parts against blueprint specifications and support in-process inspection under limited supervision.

The role requires 2+ years in quality inspection, familiarity with GD&T, and experience reading drawings. You will document findings, assist calibration of tools, and help ensure compliance to standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred in Manufacturing, Drafting (GD&T focus), or Engineering.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in quality inspection, basic metrology, or mechanical inspection.
• Experience reading blueprints and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Check parts against blueprints and specifications under limited supervision.
• Document all inspections and prepare reports for review.
• Review drawings to obtain critical dimensions and part specs.
• Use test equipment and GD&T to verify part conformity.
• Complete forms and reports to record test findings.
• Assist in calibration of measurement tools.
• Contribute to product in-process inspection and problem-solving.
