Job summary

Young Innovations in Missoula, MT, is seeking a Makeup Operator to join the production team. You will bend, shape, flatten and sharpen metal tips to exact design specifications, using grinders and power tools, contributing to overall assembly and quality.

This hands-on role requires focus, efficiency and accuracy, with comprehensive training provided and PPE supplied. You’ll work across multiple workstations, follow ISO and FDA guidelines, and collaborate with leads to meet production targets.

Responsibilities

• Bend, shape, flatten, and sharpen metal tips to required size and specifications using grinders and power tools
• Inspect work visually and with measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality standards
• Work at different workstations as production needs require
• Consistently meet or exceed production and efficiency goals while maintaining quality
• Learn and follow quality processes and procedures (ISO, FDA, and other applicable standards)
• Accurately record production and inspection data
• Identify defects or rejects and follow proper escalation procedures
• Follow all written and verbal instructions and company guidelines
• Communicate and collaborate with team members to meet production quotas and goals
• Observe safety procedures and report concerns to management
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment
• Demonstrate a positive, professional attitude and perform other duties as assigned
