Responsibilities

• Bend, shape, flatten, and sharpen metal tips to required size and specifications using grinders and power tools
• Inspect work visually and with measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality standards
• Work at different workstations as production needs require
• Consistently meet or exceed production and efficiency goals while maintaining quality
• Learn and follow quality processes and procedures (ISO, FDA, and other applicable standards)
• Accurately record production and inspection data
• Identify defects or rejects and follow proper escalation procedures
• Follow all written and verbal instructions and company guidelines
• Communicate and collaborate with team members to meet production quotas and goals
• Observe safety procedures and report concerns to management
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment
• Demonstrate a positive, professional attitude and perform other duties as assigned

Position Overview

As a Makeup Operator, you will play an essential role in the production of high-quality hand-held dental instruments. Working as part of the production team, you will use different machinery to bend, shape, flatten and sharpen metal tips to exact design specifications, contributing directly to the overall assembly and product quality. You will collaborate with other production team members throughout the manufacturing process to ensure consistent and accurate output. Young Innovations provides comprehensive training, along with all required safety equipment and personal protective gear (PPE), to ensure your success in the role. This position involves performing repetitive, detail-oriented tasks each day and requires strong focus, efficiency, and a commitment to accuracy.
