Job summary

You will read work instructions, verify material specs, adjust cutting parameters, operate overhead cranes, and perform quality inspections with tape measures and calipers.

This role requires attention to detail, safety focus, and the ability to work with various machines and tooling in a fast-paced fabrication environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate forklifts and cranes; must maintain required certifications.
• Ability to read and interpret simple blueprints.
• Proficiency with hand tools (hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench, drill, grinder, bander).
• Ability to use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometers).
• Ability to convert fractions to decimals and metric to English measurements.
• Must be detail-oriented and capable of producing high-quality work.
• Experience setting up and operating processing machines.
• Must communicate in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and maintain a safe work environment.
• Set up and operate machines and tooling, including various saws and equipment.
• Operate multiple machines and adjust or replace tooling as needed.
• Ensure quality and accuracy for internal and external customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
