Oberg Industries is seeking a Precision Metal Polisher in Freeport, PA for day shift on-site. 2+ years polishing preferred; will train strong technical candidates. You will hand-polish machined parts, read blueprints, and ensure surfaces meet exact specifications in a safe, controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of basic algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment.

• Must be a U.S. citizen or compliant with U.S. export regulations.
• Ability to wear required PPE: safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes.

Responsibilities

• Polish precision components to blueprint, customer, and manufacturing specifications.

• Verify radii, dimensions, and surface finishes using precision measuring equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires standing, sitting, or working in bent positions throughout a 10-hour shift while performing highly detailed work. Candidates should have excellent manual dexterity, strong hand-eye coordination, and the ability to use magnification devices for extended periods. The position also requires lifting up to 35 pounds on an occasional basis and wearing required personal protective equipment.
