Olympic Steel, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator to safely set up and operate automatic leveling, sheeting, and related equipment to meet customer specifications. You will work from orders, engineered layouts, and general instructions to achieve high-quality, efficient production.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to company policies, and a commitment to Olympic Steel’s Core Values as part of a stable, team-driven environment.

Qualificações

• High School or GED preferred.
• Mechanically inclined, production-oriented and safety and quality conscious.
• General knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices.
• Basic math skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work under general supervision.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to inspect material for quality conformance through the use of measuring devices and drawings.
• Functional literacy.
• Working knowledge of general computer programs preferred.
• Previous experience with precision instruments preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and operate automatic leveling, sheeting, and related equipment to level length and stack weight flat sheets to customer requirements.
• Work from customer orders, engineered layouts, and general instructions to ensure quality and productivity.
